Razor Monkey, the son we didn't see grow up

It began as a personal project of José Enrique Veloccia and ended as the adored son of many photographers and growing professionals. Razor arrived in Venezuela to show a new way of seeing and discovering the talent of many "curious" people who want to innovate in the digital, printed and photographic market. With the desire to grow inside and outside the country, because it seemed too small for them, when most of the photographs on display came from abroad.

 

My functions:

Within the magazine I got to perform various tasks, but the main one was as head of production. I also had the pleasure of interviewing great Venezuelan personalities. But definitely, what I liked the most was that it had such a broad concept that any idea fit perfectly in each edition.

 

Bastart, the grandson who had the most gifts

Razor wanted to expand and give prominence to photographers who stand out for doing different and daring work. Giving them a space completely for themselves, where we not only showed their work as a photographer but also delved a little into their personality and the inspiration to take each photograph.
 
My functions:
At Bastart I had a bigger job, together with a great colleague we dedicated ourselves entirely to the supplement. We were editors, writers and sometimes producers. A job that I enjoyed immensely.

Blind Magazine, the other side

A Venezuelan magazine that has had no limits. Under the concept of Side B of things, he has managed to hook more than one reader. It has been maintained over time and expanded from the interior of the country to cross its borders until reaching Miami.
 
My functions:
 
I worked as a correspondent downloading the concept in each of the interviews I did with celebrities such as: Pakriti Maduro (actress), Georges Harris (comedian), Gaélica (musical group), Bobby Comedia (comedian), Gladys Rodríguez (journalist), to the project CMYK editorial, Maximilliano Rivas (emerging dressmaker) among others.
